Hydra-Cell® Pro Diaphragm Pumps for Saltwater Disposal
Hydra-Cell Pro positive displacement diaphragm pumps offer an “ESG-friendly” approach to saltwater disposal applications. Conventional multiplex plunger pumps have exposed plungers that are externally lubricated – which is costly and also exposes the operator to unnecessary environmental risks. More importantly, plunger pumps are “packed” with seals that can fail and leak over time.
With their patented seal-less design, Hydra-Cell Pro pumps offer reduced maintenance, with no seals or packing to leak, fail, and replace. Hydra-Cell pumps require no external plunger lubrication, which can be a huge cost savings. Hydra-Cell Pro pumps also have zero VOC emissions while in operation. Available up to 11,000 BPD with pressure capabilities up to 5000 psi, Hydra-Cell Pro pumps are also highly efficient and reduce electricity costs when compared to H-Pumps (horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps).
The unique features of the Hydra-Cell Pro Diaphragm pump make it the perfect choice for low-maintenance saltwater disposal. JJ Tech offers saltwater disposal pump skids in various types to best fit your needs.

Hydra-Cell Pro Diaphragm Pumps for Produced Water Disposal
T Series: For maximum flow rates up to 96 gpm (366.1 l/min)
- The seal-less design separates the power end from the process fluid end, eliminating leaks, hazards and the expense associated with seals and packing
- Low NPSH requirements allow for operation with a vacuum condition on the suction – positive inlet pressure is not necessary
- The design allows operation with a closed or blocked suction line and runs dry indefinitely without damage, eliminating downtime and repair costs
- Diaphragm handles more abrasives with less wear than gear, screw or plunger pumps
- Hydraulically balanced diaphragms handle high pressures with low stress
- Low-pulse, linear flow due to its multiple diaphragm design
Q Series: For maximum flow rates up to 157 gpm (595 l/min)
- The seal-less design separates the power end from the process fluid end, eliminating leaks, hazards and the expense associated with seals and packing
- Low NPSH requirements allow for operation with a vacuum condition on the suction – positive inlet pressure is not necessary
- The design allows operation with a closed or blocked suction line and runs dry indefinitely without damage, eliminating downtime and repair costs
- Diaphragm design handles more abrasives with less wear than gear, screw or plunger pumps
- Hydraulically balanced diaphragms handle high pressures with low stress
- Low-pulse, linear flow due to its multiple diaphragm design
- Lower energy costs than centrifugal pumps and other pump technologies
- Durable construction for long life with minimal maintenance
- The compact design and double-ended shaft provide a variety of installation options
